Eventually finding my path through the Show House where various blossoms, cherry tomatoes, and tiny chili peppers I also discovered at the Chicago Botanic Garden , I make my destination in the Fern Room. We spent way too little time in Chicago when we were there a few years ago and completely missed almost everything, partly due to a really bad storm, but one day we will get back there and now I know where to go if we strike another storm. If I knew about Garfield Park Conservatory I would have gone there last year, when I visited Chicago. In Berlin we have a fantastic Botanical Garden too, I only went once but it's a really lovely place too.

Installed in 1991, the Japanese Courtyard Garden was designed by Hoichi Kurisu to represent two art forms.
