After a formal presentation of certificate by Sir Charles and Lady Legard everyone was invited to a buffet in the conservatory with food provided by the Kingfisher Café. The event was coordinated by Gill Garbutt (North Yorkshire County Council Adult Learning and Skills Service), Sue Parsons (The Croft - Camphill Village Trust) and Paul Mosley (Heritage Learning Officer - Scampston Conservatory Preservation Company). There was also time for guests to explore the restored Scampston Conservatory and exhibitions and take a walk in the walled garden and see some of the beds that the garden volunteers had worked on. The visit also gave the class a chance to see the restored conservatory exhibitions. June also saw the conservatory well used for a range of events conferences and meetings including PDSA and RAPt.
